About BongoDesk
BongoDesk is a communication-tools platform built in Tanzania for users worldwide. We help individuals, developers, and small businesses manage virtual phone numbers, temporary email inboxes, and online payments from one secure dashboard.
What we do
We provide practical privacy and testing tools: virtual phone numbers from licensed telecom providers, disposable email inboxes for protecting your personal address from spam and newsletters, Gmail aliases from accounts our team owns and manages, and a wallet that supports mobile money and cryptocurrency. Developers use our API to integrate these tools into their own applications and QA workflows.
Why we built it
Signing up for online services often means handing over your personal phone number and email address — and getting spam, robocalls, and data-broker exposure in return. Our tools let you keep your personal contact details private for everyday, lawful sign-ups, app testing, and short-term projects, while businesses get a clean way to manage dedicated numbers and inboxes without buying SIM cards or extra hardware.
Our commitment to responsible use
We operate under a strict Acceptable Use Policy. BongoDesk may not be used for fraud, impersonation, spam, or to access banking, financial, government, or other sensitive services. We do not sell accounts of any kind, we source numbers only from licensed providers, and we cooperate with abuse reports — anyone can flag misuse through our abuse report form. Rate limits, keyword filtering, and risk controls run across the platform.
Where we are
BongoDesk is operated from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and serves customers globally. Local customers can pay with mobile money (Selcom, AzamPay and others); international customers can use USDT (TRC20) or Binance Pay. Support is available through our contact page and the in-dashboard ticket system.
